Ivory, sage and navy Gresi knit shirt

£220.83 excl. UK tax

Our debut women’s knit shirt has been carefully sculpted to suit the female silhouette. Eye-catching stripes highlight the neatly cut form of the knit, drawing the eye along the shoulder with its flattering raglan sleeve.

We took inspiration from a selection of designs in our 400+ piece archive of original midcentury knitwear – something of a passion (or, perhaps more accurately, obsession) for us.

Lovingly made using a fine-gauge 100% Merino wool in Milan by hand – just as they used to be.

Each of these knit shirts are made-to-order on the 1st & 15th  of each month and take 5-6 weeks to make and dispatch. For more information scroll down where you’ll find detailed information on how the order window works.

Details include:

– Raglan sleeve for a smooth shoulder line
– Covered button front
– Cropped waisted fit, enough that you can tuck it or wear it out with ease.
– Revered curved collar

Made in Milan – Dry clean only – 100% Merino wool. Once you wash knitted wool it never quite has that same lustre.

No need to tuck the shirt too, with a straight hem and waistband, the length of the knit is ideal when worn relaxed over shorts or trousers, but if you want to dress up your look, we’ve worked to try and find a length that can also be tucked in.

How our order window works

We work with artisan knitters – not factories – to ensure our knits are produced to the highest possible standard. As such, our knitters have a limited number of pieces they can produce each month, so we help them maximise their efficiency by placing our knitwear orders in bimonthly batches. We place our orders in batches on the 1st & 15th of each month, and then these knits will be ready to ship 4-5 weeks laterKindly note that your delivery date is calculated from the 1st & 15th of the month, regardless of when your order is placed. We are offering shipping with DHL to ensure your knit arrives promptly, wherever you are in the world.

If you would like to spread the cost and pay a 50% deposit/down-payment to start the production of your knit shirt, please follow this link – 50% knit shirt deposit offer. We will prompt you to pay the final 50% remaining when the knit shirt is ready to dispatch.

The knits have a classic fit as standard, not too fitted but not baggy. With a body length to hit you on or around your hip, perfect when worn with mid to higher waist trousers/shorts – please review our size chart below for more information and please allow a tolerance for the knit fabric.

It’s important remember when reviewing the size chart that knitwear is a garment that has stretch and movement in the weave. Please try not to scrutinise every number on the chart, as you may normally do with a fixed/rigid fabric, such as cotton shirting. When measuring pieces, please understand the nature of the knit material and where possible we aim to take EXACT dimensions, a degree of tolerance must be considered with the stretch etc. Order for your chest size.

For a visual reference on fit, our model Talesha is 5’7” and usually wears a UK size 10. She is pictured wearing the Ivory knit shirt in a S-M/ UK 10.

Kindly note that we do not accept exchanges or refunds on made to order items, so it’s important the size you choose is the right one for you. Please consult the Order Terms for more information.
