Our first house-designed print features drippy, gnarly floral wave motifs in tones of black, grey and soft lilac/yellow, reminiscent of traditional Hawaiian shirt patterns but with a tangier, acid-tingled twist.
The fit of the shirt is drapey, generous in its size and owes it’s easy flow to the fabric: a supple rayon-like 100% bamboo fabric – this is a shirt for holidaying in. The fit was inspired by a shirt we own from 1951 that was given as a souvenir to all the voyagers of the Watson Line cruise ships. The Watson Line would travel from the US to the Hawaiian islands on a weekly basis, taking 5 days to arrive it allowed every traveller to slow down and aclimatise into the pace of the holiday ahead.
Complete with a 4 coconut button front, loop collar fastening, single chest pocket and side vents. Perfectly cut in the length to wear in-or-out, catching the coastal breeze or shining under the stars of the island nights.
Looking for something to style under your shirt? Wear with our perforated vest for the full look.
Each piece is made on a per-order basis, please allow up to 3 weeks for your hand-made item to be dispatched.
Made in London from 100% bamboo – naturally light and breathable, drapey and doesn’t crease easily.
