PACKING & LOGISTICS ASSISTANT

HOURS - 2 days per week

LOCATION - SFC East London Studio (Brick Lane, E1)

JOB ROLE -

You be responsible for packing and shipping customer orders, as well as assisting with customer emails. The role will be split between working independently and also as part of a small team.

We’re looking for someone who will work with care and with a keen eye for detail as you'll be responsible for sending each piece out into the world. This role requires no direct experience in fashion however, it would suit someone with an interest in clothing and textiles.

RESPONSIBILITIES -

  • Collecting completed made-to-order clothing from our main factory and bringing them back to our packing studio

  • Quality control; inspecting clothing items to ensure they are ready to ship

  • Pressing, folding and packing clothing; you must be able to iron and handle clothing with care

  • Arranging couriers and collections; you must be IT literate as this process involves printing shipping bills and arranging parcel collections for customers and via our online shipping provider’s platforms

  • Assisting studio collections/deliveries. From time to time we may need you to collect orders or drop off fabrics around the East London area where we manufacture the majority our clothing

  • Carrying out stock-takes and updating the website stock levels. Communicating internally on stock levels and reporting on low/out of stock items for re-ordering

  • Assisting with customer emails. You will help to arrange exchanges, returns, collections and send invoices and shipping labels for this process


START DATE - LATE SEP/EARLY OCTOBER 2024

CONTRACT - Casual contract, typically 2 days (potential of more) per week (weekdays) with accrued statutory holiday entitlement/

PAY RATE - Hourly rate of £15
