Here's a new colour-way release of our popular Icon Series Goodfellas (1990) collection. Taking one of our house-favourites and re-colouring in new fresh tones for the season ahead. 

With countless shades of brown/cream set into a chartreuse green main body of merino wool, this knit was and is extremely technical to produce. Only after we obtained an original vintage piece as worn in this scene, we were really able to understand the complexity of the knitted stripe. The front panel also includes two horizontal hip-pockets and a full mother-of-pearl button front.

Made in Portugal using a fine 100% Merino wool, this is the closest you'll get to the pieces you see on screen.

The Idlewild knit is named after the NYC airport (before it was called JFK) where the scene the knit makes its first of two features in the film. Just outside the airport in a diner carpark, Henry Hill sits nonchalantly on the boot of the car outside a diner with his accomplice Tommy as they prep for a truck heist. It’s a scene that caught our eye immediately and one that deeply focusses on Henry's outfit - we can’t fault. The camera pans up from his basketweave loafers over THE sharpest pressed trouser crease we’ve ever seen and ends on the knit shirt collar proudly sitting over a graphite grey sharkskin suit.

Sizing 

Both our Goodfellas knits are a classic fit, with ease in the shoulder and body width which allows for them to be worn over a vest or t-shirt. See our size chart for more information.

Leo is pictured wearing a size MEDIUM  and is 5ft 10" and has a 39″ chest. He could opt for a SMALL if he wanted a slightly less roomy fit.

Styling

No need to tuck the shirt if you don't want to, with a straight hem and waistband, the length of the Goodfellas knits are ideal when worn relaxed over shorts or trousers. Pair with our higher waisted trousers or shorts, or if you are looking for something to style under your knit, wear with our perforated vest for the full look. 

Care instructions 

DRY CLEAN ONLY - once wool is washed in water it never hangs quite hangs the same.

100% Merino wool.
