Classic wide leg trousers

Reminiscent of the golden-era actors and artists from the 40s and 50s. Wide legged (10 inch hem) and a high waistband. When worn, the trousers fall from the hip-line.

The Zoot pant is a cultural behemoth, we draw references from the plentiful cuts of the 1940s East LA streets through to 1980s London clubland.

Versatility is key for these trousers – the ability and the fit allow them to be worn on the street, skating, or turned down and sharpened.

Backstory

Softer in its construction than our other suiting options, this jacket is inspired by a 1940s dinner jacket from Scott's own collection, a cut of plentiful volume. We've relaxed the construction, with a thinner single-layered shoulder pad and added a softness to the rolling double-breasted shawl lapel

The silk

Our silk comes from a British supplier whose Spitalfields roots date back to 1720, in the same neighbourhood where our London shop now stands. They're been weaving the finest tuxedo-facing fabrics since the late 1940s
