Backstory

Typically, we look to source vintage garments for inspiration during our design process. We struck absolute gold whilst looking for references on this occasion. After giving the brief to the owner of our neighbourhood vintage store, he ran inside and pulled none other than Gene Kelly's actual SB jacket from the archives. Thank you vintage Gods!

The making

Here's Gene's actual jacket that we set about working with our London-based suit makers to replicate and finesse the details for this suit. From the lapel width to the pocket stance and the rear collar shaped accent, we concentrated everything the 80 year old jacket had and rejuvenated it
